PostSubject: Locke's Shoes...   Wed Jul 08, 2009 5:17 pm

Given the importance of Christian's white shoes in the pilot as well as the shoes that Jack put on Locke in the coffin, I felt it necessary to mention this observation.

In the very first locke-centric episode, the one where we discover his former handicapped status. Just after the crash, Locke has no shoes on... He has to put on his shoes... Important? Maybe, maybe not...

Sure it could be that the show-makers needed us to see him wiggle his toes and with shoes, that might be tough... At the same time, it could be that is what they want us to think...

Sniphneris - WHITE shoes then BLACK shoes....hmmm. A little symbolism that "Locke" had changed sides?

I just wonder whether his shoes had any importance at all or whether he just had to remove them for those pesky security screenings.

and then Locke had to wear Christian's shoes when he came back in the casket last season...There's deffinately something too the whole shoe thing...Kate took shoes from a dead guy, not sure if that means anything...just trying to think of other weird shoe moments
