How many levels of the "others" are there? Empty
PostSubject: How many levels of the "others" are there?   How many levels of the "others" are there? EmptyWed Feb 17, 2010 7:46 pm

If we go back to the known leaders of the others we see Eloise Hawkings, Charles Widmore, Benjamin Linus and John Locke. My question is, "Is Dogen a different segment of the others?" Does he step aside for the leader of the smaller pack? Or is it a different branch of the others we know about and he is the leader (under Jacob) for that group. It just seems that this faction at the temple holds a higher position. Or is it that when the group that seems to be wandering in the wilderness so to speak comes back to the temple that the leader such as Ben, Charles, or whoever is the leader of all and is under Jacob.

Just curious, any thoughts?

the ones at the Temple are the religious ones. they are the Island's Church. each group of Others serves a different purpose.
When the Others killed DHARMA they were left with all the DHARMA stations so they assumed the roles that DHARMA had so that DHARMA headquarters in Ann Arbor Michigan would not know that there was a Purge and keep sending the food drops and not try to retake the Island.

The Leader is the leader of all Others. But each station has it's leader. it's like the military with ranks and such.

Richard is just an advisor and has no power at all on the Island other than he doesn't age, which shows the Others Jacob's power, which is the only reason Richard is there and is still alive and not aging.
