OK, just kidding about the heading guys.

So I might as well post a theory on Polar Bear.

They were used as subjects for time travel and there is a portal in the Arctic just as there is one in the Middle East, Indonesia/Australia, and probably Bermuda.

hey you might be interested in the vile vortices lost theories.......check em out Smile I dunno where they are, but a little googling you should find em...they support part of my theory as well because the Emerald Tablet (secrets of life pretty much) of Hermes Trismegistus is suppossed to be buried under one (in egypt, in real life). I think the arctic has one and Tunisia and the Bermuda triangle as well. Keep in mind the vile vortices are a real theory (in real life) having nothing to do with Lost but the theory of the vile vortices fits well with the show.

This is from Paranormal Encyclopedia (a completely non-lost related site)

"By definition, the Vile Vortices would be miserable whirlers but actually they are twelve vertex points of a planetary grid (see Figure 1) originally plotted by Ivan T. Sanderson, a naturalist and paranormal investigator. Sanderson first coined the term, “Vile Vortices”1 in his article “The Twelve Devil’s Graveyards Around the World” (Saga magazine, 1972).

The best-known Vile Vortices are the Bermuda Triangle, the Dragon’s Triangle (Devil's Sea), and the South Atlantic Anomaly. However, each of these twelve geographic areas is credited with instances of magnetic anomalies and other unexplained phenomena."

Sort of related to this is the Book of Enoch. It talks of 4 portals (4 corners of the world) where weather originates and where Angels interact with earth's weather. The Book was lost for millennia and rediscovered. When the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, a number of copies of the Book of Enoch were there too. It is quite an old book.

What is most interesting about this book is that it claims to be written for a far off generation and some of it is actually quoted in the bible too.

You don't have to be religious to enjoy this book. It is really way out there.

another member and I were thinking the same thing. Something about that dang portal....isn't there one in Tunisia where Charlotte found the Polar Bear bones? I was thinking if that's the case, that could be wher the whole "Latin, language of the enlightened" them falls into place...I want to say it was group of Roman Catholics that crusaded there spreading Catholosism and the Latin language.
