Hurley and the kitchen

I was just watching a bunch of episodes of lost. I can't recall what season or episode no. but I found it interesting that it showed Hurley always eating the Dharma ranch dressing. Do ya think that the reason he liked it so much is because he made it without knowing he made it. Just a fun question cause I'm sure it has no other relevance to the show.
