Widmore vs. Dark vs Light

I don't think Widmore is going to choose a side. I think he's in it for himself. He wants the island, for it's unique properties, he wants sole ownership of it. I also think that this will tie into the technology vs. faith concept. He's going to use all of his 21st century technology to take the island. Killing anyone who gets in his path. Who knows, he may become the next MIB......Yep, Ben's going to be the new Jacob, because that is what he always wanted, to be in control of the island. With respect to his new outlook, asks for forgiveness, is truly sorry for his past transgressions, sacrificing in the flash sideways to help Alex, I'm thinking he's still and candidate. Ben will be the new Jacob, Widmore will be the new smokie, because he only wants the island for his personal gain, he's greedy and will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
